Distinctive Elements
The dome itself is an engineering masterpiece. Expansion joints are incorporated to ensure its proper functioning after being loaded with glass.
INVESTMENT DESCRIPTION
The Dome building at Ziętek Roundabout was constructed in the capital of the Silesian Voivodeship at Ziętek Roundabout, 1 General Jerzy Street. It also functions as Rondo Sztuki (Art Roundabout) and the Academy of Fine Arts. The construction of the property began in 2005 and was completed in the fourth quarter of 2006. The usable area of this building is nearly 2,000 m2. At a distance of 142 meters, the KTW Office Buildings are being built, 179 meters away is the structure Bridge over the Olympic, and 184 meters away is the building Superunit.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- The grand opening took place on March 29, 2007.
- The transparent dome covers an area of 1750 m2.
- 240 tons of steel structures were used in the construction.
- The investment value is PLN 16.6 million gross.
- The large arch of the dome has a span of 80 meters.
